Teaching for Transformation: 4-Day Teacher Training Intensive with Jordan Bloom
Every student of asana wants to create noticeable, real change in their bodies and movement patterns. This is one of the primary goals of a modern 21st century asana practice.
April 19 – 22, 2018
9:00 – 17:00 (1 hour lunch break each day)
(28 hours of training in total)
In this 4-day Intensive we will learn:
- – a new model of teaching that will create and affect physical transformation in our students’ bodies through their asana practice
- – how to use the practice of asana to teach our students to move more optimally, both on their mat and in every day life
- – how to identify our students’ current movements patterns as well as what aspects of movement are limiting them in their practice
- – how to design, sequence and teach classes that are customized towards the students limitations and needs.
After the completion of this training you will not only be able to help your students get stronger and more mobile, but also educate and empower them on how to continue to create radical change in their movement progress both on the mat, during sports and in everyday life.
NB: this training is a head start on Zenits intermediate/advance teacher training (300+ hours) that starts spring 2019. If you take this training, you will have it incorporated into the 300+ teacher training.
This Teacher Training Intensive is for teachers, teachers in training and those with a lot of teaching experience but have not had a training.
